New toys, and its not Christmas yet…

If you’ve been following the iPhone project, you’ll know that I’ve been trialling the Enterprise Edition of iRise, the “world leading” visualisation/ prototyping solution, for the last month or so. Despite the steep learning curve, I’m loving it! Bill Smith, my iRise sales manager, has been fantastic at making sure I had all the support material I needed to get the most of the trial, and of course was happy to lighten my wallet (considerably) earlier this week when I finally took the plunge and made iRise the newest addition to Fincision’s armoury of professional visualisation services. That’s services, not just software, because iRise is so much more than just a nifty prototyping app; contact us to find out more!

Having acquired iRise, Fincision also needed to appoint a new server hosting company in order to make the most of our new online/remote collaboration capabilities (Media Temple, who host our websites, don’t do Windows Server packages, unfortunately!). After a brief but thorough review of the top 5 candidates, I’m pleased to announce that Orlando-based Server Intellect got the gig. Within minutes of placing the order, I knew I’d made the right choice when a friendly, knowledgeable and eloquent customer service rep (when was the last time you could describe a CS peep like that?!) phoned me up to welcome me as a new customer, and then made me an offer I couldn’t refuse to move to a dedicated package from the virtual server solution I’d originally chosen! A great upsell for them, but a cracking deal for me too!

I’m looking forward to playing with my shiny new toys on Friday…
