Mike Linskey is the Managing Director and founder of Fincision. He has an extensive background in the financial services sector stretching over 25 years, from technical pensions administration through sales and sales management to business analysis and consultancy roles.
Mike’s flagship work on the design of Winterthur Life’s online proposition has won a number of awards and, as a result, he has gained a reputation for delivering innovative and leading-edge online solutions for clients. Recognised as a thought leader in the design and development of platforms & planning tools, he is currently engaged in a number of exciting high-profile projects.
Mike is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning, British Computer Society and Professional Contractors Group. He is also a member of the Interaction Design Association, and attended Nielsen Norman Group’s inaugural Usability Boot Camp in San Francisco (May 2003).
Mike continues to appear as a guest speaker/ panellist at industry-related conferences (Dealers Group Platforms & Technology Conferences 2008 & 2009; Institute of Financial Planning Conferences 2009, Meeting of Minds Conferences 2009), and is a long-standing guest of Finovate, the bi-annual USA-based conference focussing on financial technology.
