..around here, and I’m not just lying low ‘cos I’m a welsh rugby supporter!

I’m just overwhelmed by the day job at the moment, as AXA’s wrap project is demanding that my midnight oil be burned practically every night! Add in commitments to support Winterthur’s online services programme, and there aren’t enough days in the week, so unfortunately Fincision has ‘gone dark’ for a while (the other stuff pays the bills!).

But that’s all about to change in the next few weeks. Winterthur’s new Retirement Income Planner will go live soon, and the functional design and planning tools work for AXA wrap phase 1 is almost complete. So, by mid-October I’ll be able to step back into Fincision mode and get writing again. I’ve already got some topics in mind, including:

the much-delayed PlanLab review (apologies, Eric!),

the follow-up to the stochastic forecasting article that drew plenty of comments,

how bad user interface design can screw up an otherwise great platform (coming your way, Skandia Wrap!)

I’ll also be starting an occasional series of reviews of financial adviser websites; gathering material right now! )

That’s it for now, except maybe for a ‘My Month’ for October if I’ve got a spare hour Tuesday night (and I can find a Bristol hotel with a decent wi-fi connection).
